High ranking officials of the Army and PNP have visited 6th Infantry Division in Camp Siongco, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

Army Signal Regiment Commander Colonel Diosdado G. Respecio visited 6ID to attend the 2nd Foundation Anniversary of 6th Signal Battalion and inspect on Communication Electronic Information System (CEIS) facilities as well as to render his courtesy call to 6ID Commander Brig General Romeo L. Gapuz on May 02-03, 2013.

The 6th Infantry Division Commander conferred Military Merit Medals to the outgoing members of the International Monitoring Team Site 1-Brunei contingent on May 03, 2013 held at the Hall of Flags in Camp Siongco, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

The Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) conducted an Orientation/Feedbacking and Initial Assessment Workshop on ARMM H.E.L.P.S. (Health, Education, Livelihood, Peace and Governance, Synergy) Convergence to effectively address poverty situation held in Apo View Hotel in Davao City on April 29-30, 2013.

Operation “Tuli” (circumcision) and feeding program was also conducted simultaneously at the Headquarters with the volunteers form Quijano Hospital, Inc. and Buluan District Hospital, and RN Heals from the Municipal Health Office. 130 children/boys have benefited in free circumcision, while 300 children and local residence in the barangay have benefited in food feeding program.

The 6th Infantry (Kampilan) Division recognized newly promoted Brig General Ademar T. Tomaro in a military honors at 6ID Parade Grounds in Camp Siongco on May 06, 2013 with Division Chief of Staff Colonel Roseller G. Murillo as host.
