The members of the International Monitoring Team (IMT) - 11 renders their exit call to the 6th Infantry (Kampilan) Division today (June 27, 2016) with 6ID General Officer-in-Charge, Colonel Earl D. Baliao, as the host.
During their exit call, 6ID awarded the military contingents with Bronze Cross and Military Merit Medals while the civilian components with Certificates of Appreciation after having been instrumental in the proper implementation of the guidelines of the agreement between the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the Government of the Philippines (GPH).
The IMT members are composed of Indonesian and Japanese contingents that will complete their tour of duty on June 29, 2016.
Indonesian contingents were led by Colonel Elphis Rudy and the Japanese contingents were led by Mr. Takayuki Nakagawa, the Chief Coordinator of the Socio-Economic Assistance Component.
Another group from both countries will be replacing the outgoing team by first week of July.
